Common questions
Does ICO to PNG export all icon sizes?
No. It creates one PNG from a supported decoded icon image. An ICO containing several resolutions is not exported as a separate PNG for each size.
Can the PNG keep a transparent icon background?
PNG supports alpha transparency, and supported transparency can be retained in the rendered image. Review edges because appearance also depends on the icon data and decoder.
Does ICO to PNG upload my selected file?
No. The selected file is processed in your browser rather than uploaded to a conversion server. The page may download processing software or models, and ordinary website connection requests still occur.
Why can the first use take longer?
